New Era of Xtreme Talents

Yesterday, we got an update from abigail about our very precious batch fund. For details, please check your mail from or YahooGroup because I'd rather not discuss such matters here.

The first of possibly many more Alumni Meetings was held last May 28, 2009 at the Conference Hall in the Po Hang Gym. Our batch representative then was Tin Ong. (Salamat guid tin! sorry waay ko nagkadto! *blush*) I don't know the details yet, so I have nothing to report here. I'll post updates as soon as I get more info. Or you can ask her. Other people likely to be incharge of our batch is Abigail, Rose Ann, John Dave and Justine. Please coordinate with them for ideas.

As for our poll... so far only 7 people have voted. 6 in the YG and 1 (which is Ester) via here in the website. tsktsk. mababa ang turnout.

Some people have been asking kung pano na aton participation para sa 75th sang Tay Tung. First issue would be the parade/*slash*/motorcade.

nga September 22, 2009 ang opening day, kicking off with the parade around Bacolod City. If you have a car, and you want to join the motorcade, email btthsalumnirelations@yahoo.com. Details, again mabasa sa YG.

"at long last! that took you a while."

I know... I know. Sorry. Despite the ironic fact that I did put up this site myself because I just wanted to, (not because everyone told me to), I am one lazy moderator for anything! Can't even update my personal pages for crying out loud. So I can never pass the blame on anyone else, since this is my own doing.

The updates for this year are quite obvious, -I hope you did hear the sarcasm in the What's Up note in the homepage. Template has been changed from anime ninja dude, to a ripped page of a notebook, or more likely a drawing pad. I initially clicked the one with black backdrop, but I dunno why I still ended up with a default brown. So I'm like, "what the heck!", trying to insist on the black might possibly frustrate me. 

And I bet you noticed, the image in the logo frame is obviously not a logo. Explaination: the one I originally uploaded was too frickin' big. And there was not convenient option of resizing the image. You have to resize the photo youself before uploading. So I ended clicking whatever image there was already uploaded, and ended up with that. I realize later that there's no one in the picture with a Y chromosome, so that might mislead to think we're an all-girls batch. So... yeah. sorry. Be changing that later. (Though, that's assuming someone extremely distantly connected to us and the school might ever come across this site. so who cares right?)

I've always wanted things customized. But I'm no genius in CSS, I wouldn't even know where to start. And it's always easier to stick to the templates (especially for someone who's as lazy to update as me.) So if any of you ever wants to try that out is very much welcome.

Another new addition, the sidebar. Freewebs itself (now called Webs.com) has a lot of new features, and one of them is the membership thingy. I hope that greatly helps in increasing activity and interaction in this site.

Some pages were destroyed, and some new pages added, such as this blog page, and the calendar where I will hopefully finish updating it with all our birthdays because I don't know about you but I get slightly annoyed with the Y!groups bday reminders sometimes. So I'll need to do that here first so I can disable the reminders soon.

I've read the tagboard, and although they posted waaaaay last year, ester and lovely you are heard! I'd love to changed those outdated photos. But dudes, I'm sorry, no one's helping me. please email me a photo you want as a replacement (ideally, something close-up; higher resolution the better. I'll do the cropping.) and if you want it to be linked to some other page than your friendster profile, please indicate. 

Guys, indi gid ko ang tipo nga masagay reklamo kag balibad nga waay ko ga-update kay busy, damo ubra, chuva-ekek, kay kabalo ko tanan man ta may ginaubra. Pero sa tuod lang, kung may oras man gid ko, waay ko ka-update, kay daw waay man gid ko may i-hambal. Si geneveive man lng ang regular ko nga makit-an nga batchmate. Waay man ko balita. Daw sa into man kung maisturya ko sng mga gatalabo sa amon di, hambalon niyo pa karon nga gasulat lng ko di para magtinikal.

I was told na nagperform kuno ang boys sang last alumni homecoming? Did I get that right? All I know is hearsay, so I hope those who really know about such happenings would update things like that here. I don't need posts to be formal. (When are we ever formal anyway?) Just tell it like it is.

I've been ranting so long I hope this covers my long delayed updates. And I hope someone is still reading this last sentence. lol.
