Our History

Most of us met each other 11 years ago in kindergarten, mere strangers. As years gone by, we got to know each other more. We’ve already made our own friends, and of course, our own enemies. Quite a number of batchmates we once had have come and gone. And throughout the years, a variety of talents have been discovered in each of us. 

In 2002, we had stepped in the world of the fun, the weird,(not to mention the world of killer exams and projects...), we had stepped into high school. As always, first years are underdogs, the little guys, the freshmen. It was all the same in elementary, except for harder projects and exams. 

By the next year, 2003, everything changed. Students were mixed in all different sections. You didn’t have the same set of classmates you were used to. The horror! That’s what we all initially thought. But as the year went on, new friends have been made, clusters of friends or barkadas  were interconnected. The idea didn’t turn bad as we all thought! So by the track and field event, N.E.X.T.© has been established. Just the perfect name for the batch. Slogan credit goes to our resident artists, John Dave Chu and Mark David Uy. Believe it or not, agree with it or not, it added a sense of unity in us. What better proof do I have than the Track & Field result and of course, the Cheering Competition. Add that to the fact that in February, we went to our first retreat.

           This new school year 2004, students were again mixed. But this time we weren’t that worried. All goes well, and by July we had our own kingdom. Junior’s Kingdom! During the Track and Field event we had proved ourselves once more, having our sales reach more than our 10,000 quota. Up to now, we continue to expose our talents, work together, enjoy each other’s company and just have fun! We won’t deny, we had our own misunderstandings, miseries, fights, and arguments, but we can get pass all that and continue to stay united!
